People often think of a home as a collection of furniture and walls, but home should really be considered a container for your life. When you walk into a room and everything is flat or mass manufactured, you feel it lacks true character. This is why original abstract paintings are essential to a home. This original art is not just a wall decoration. This is evidence of a human being, standing in a room and making honest decisions. When you buy an original painting, you are seeing the texture of the paint and capturing that artists emotional state, in that moment. You are seeing the imperfections of the artist struggle, and the places where they found clarity.
When searching for abstract paintings for sale in the digital space, there are 1000s of pages filled with posters that are all generated by some factory or algorithm. This is a mindless endeavor. My gallery is a collection of one of a kind painting. There are no duplicates or unnecessary paintings. When making a piece, I am constantly editing and pushing the paint until I feel it is right.

When it comes to selecting one abstract art piece over another, instinct is typically the deciding factor. Perhaps you are reminded of the night time ocean due to a particular shade of blue. Or perhaps you are astounded by a gold jagged line that you feel symbolizes the spark of hope. That is all part of the beauty that is abstract art. Rather than communicate and dictate your thoughts, it provides you with an avenue to experience and interpret whichever way your mind decides.
Heavy body acrylics sure have a large visual impact. As a viewer, I provide physical presence. Having an appreciation for shadows, my works are dimensional. Sunlight hitting the artwork will draw out built up shadows formed by the application of acrylics, leaving the canvas in dimension. I paint the corners of my pieces so they are more fully formed objects, rather than flat art. Highly valued art appreciates these small details that posters lack.
I prefer to ship my own pieces because I want to be in control of how work impacts the new home. It will look exactly how I have intended because I want my work to shows the world how passionate I am. I want this work to find a home where it is appreciated. Because of a singular vision, I also want to help and answer questions to those collectors buying my work for the very first time.
